(Isaiah 11:1-2) Lord God, Your Son, Jesus, was the wisest human being to ever walk this Earth. All of His interactions were filled with and characterized by knowledge, wisdom, understanding, revelation, and truth. As Isaiah prophesied, this is because of one key truth: He is Your Son. In Isaiah’s words, “the Spirit of Yahweh will rest upon him.” It is that same Spirit—the Spirit of Extraordinary Wisdom, of Perfect Understanding, of Wise Strategy, of Mighty Power, of Revelation, and of the Fear of Yahweh”—that also lives inside all of Your sons and daughters, all of those who trust in You. Because of this, Lord, I know that Your Spirit lives inside of ___. Thank You for that, God. Thank You for providing ___ with a helper, the Helper, as they enter this stage of learning and growing in You and Your truth. Father, through Your Holy Spirit, I ask You to fill ___ with that same wisdom, strategy, power, revelation, and fear that lives inside of Your Son, Jesus. Thank You for not leaving us alone, to fend for ourselves. You are truly a compassionate, gracious, holy, and loving Father. Amen.
