(John 15:5) Not only are You “always with us” (Matthew 28:20) and “near to the brokenhearted” (Psalm 34:18), but You also tell us to draw near to You, Father. In Your infinite wisdom and love, Lord, You invite us to abide in You—to draw from You everything we need for life, love, and flourishing as Your children on this earth. You are the vine, God, and we are the branches. When we rely on ourselves, we are powerless, but when we abide in You, we bear fruit. Father, I ask You to invite ___ into this same life of love, peace, and fruitfulness. Through Your Holy Spirit, show ___ what waits for them on the other side of trusting in You. Give them a taste of the fullness of life You offer, the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. All of them are available to us—available to ___ —when we draw near to You. May these “streams of fruitfulness” flow from ___, through Your Holy Spirit, today and well into the future. Thank You, Lord. Amen.
