(Ephesians 5:20) Yahweh, You have given us every reason to be thankful. Regardless of our circumstances—rich or poor, sick or healthy, in community or alone—You have blessed us with more than we could ever want or ever need. You know our desires and needs better than we do, and every day, You provide us with our daily bread—what we need, when we need it. Thank You for Your love, care, and provision for Your children, Lord. You are a good, good Father. As I know full well, You have blessed ___ with so many incredible gifts and talents. You’ve given them physical health, mental determination, and a desire to succeed. All of those are precious blessings—“good and perfect gifts…coming down from the Father of heavenly lights.” In light of those gifts, Father, I ask You to spark an attitude of thankfulness and gratitude within ___. Reveal to them Your blessings and open their eyes to see Your provision. May ___’s leading attitude always be one of gratefulness and humility. Through Your Spirit, help ___ to appreciate each moment as it comes, taking nothing for granted, thanking You for every minute they get to play their sport. Amen.
