(Ephesians 6:11-13) Yahweh, not only has ___ been called to the physical battlefield, but the spiritual battlefield as well. Like all of Your children, Lord, ___’s ultimate “hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms.” While ___ may be fighting a physical, on-earth battle with other humans, Lord—for which Solomon said there was “a time and a place” (Ecclesiastes 3:8)—I ask You to give ___ Your perspective on this spiritual battle. Through Your Holy Spirit, help ___ not to lose sight of the real Enemy—the “evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage.” Protect ___’s mind from being deceived or distorted by these sources of evil. Combat their attacks on ___ with Your goodness and Your truth, Yahweh. Beyond their gear for physical protection, equip ___ with Your armor that You’ve designed to protect them from the Enemy. Protect ___ with Your all-powerful shield, that they might “rise victorious,” as You have planned and designed. Amen.
