(Proverbs 1:5-7) Father God, thank You for ___. Thank You for their decision to follow You with their life, to commit to You entirely, and to trust You fully. Father, it is only because of Your mercy, grace, and love that we have access to the life You offer, so thank You for Your goodness. Thank You for not forgetting about us, but instead, sending Your Son to die in our place, that we might have true life in You. ___ is in the beginning of their walk with You, Lord—You know that more than anyone else. In this newness, ___ is eager to know You, to follow You and to learn what it means to walk in Your footsteps. In light of that, Father, I ask You to fill ___ with knowledge and wisdom of You through Your Holy Spirit. In Proverbs 1, Your servant, Solomon, said that “fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” I thank You and praise You for the “fear of the Lord” You’ve created in ___’s heart. May the days, weeks, months, and years of ___’s life to come be filled with the knowledge, wisdom, and truth found only in You, Father. Amen.
