(Revelation 21:4) Father, it is Your heart’s desire for ___ to live in eternal peace, both now and forever. The trials and tribulations of this world feel like they’re piling on ___ and stealing their peace. Renew their strength to continue to fight, especially on days when giving up seems like the better option. In John 16:33, You said we will experience trouble and sorrow in this life, but You did not stop there. You promised an end to all suffering. You conquered the world, a reason for us to have courage, and gave us promises of what is to come. On the days when the depression and pain seem never ending, remind ___ of Your eternal promises. There will be a day when You will wipe away their every tear. The exhaustion of mourning and weeping will be no more. All their wounds will be healed and sealed, never to be reopened again. The glory, joy, and peace that will consume ___ is incomprehensible. I ask that You give them dreams in the night of the marvels they will experience in Heaven. May these dreams carry them through the darkest days, the hope of an eternity with You. Amen.
