(Acts 1:8) Lord, in Your infinite wisdom, You haven’t left us alone on this Earth. Knowing our limitations and shortcomings better than anyone else, You sent a Helper to guide Your disciples after You ascended back into Heaven. Because of Your great love and creative design, You’ve given Your Holy Spirit to live inside of us—to provide us both with wisdom and with power. As human beings, we can’t rely on ourselves to “make disciples of all nations,” but because of Your Spirit, we “can do all things through Christ who strengthens (us).” Father, I ask You to fill ___ with Your Holy Spirit this week. Make them aware of Your presence around them and in them because of Your Spirit of power and love. As ___ continues to engage in full-time ministry, guide and direct their steps through Your Spirit alone. As Jesus said we “will be filled with power” when the Holy Spirit enters us, so I pray for You to empower ___ to do great things for Your Kingdom and Your glory. May ___ always be led by Your Holy Spirit, regardless of their circumstances. Thank You for Your Helper, Lord. Amen.
