(Colossians 3:1-2) We are a new creation. In Your infinite love and creative design, Father, You have made us new. Hallelujah! You’ve taken what’s broken, cracked, and dirty within our souls and transformed it into something valuable, beautiful, and whole. Your grace is enough, Father, because of the work of Your Son, Jesus. Thank You for that incredible truth and reality. Despite this truth, Lord, we still often forget our new status as Your children, our new identity as Your beloved, and we fall back into old ways of thinking. Let this not be so in ___’s life. Raise ___ up to set an example for those around them in the way they think. In light of ___’s new identity in You, set their heart on things above, where You are, through Your Holy Spirit. When ___ is lost, give them a picture of Your hand guiding them. When ___ is hurting, show them Your warm embrace. When ___ is filled with doubt, bring to mind Your truth, Your grace and, above all, Your love for them. Amen.
