(2 Corinthians 4:17-18) Father, we thank You for the twenty-four hours You give us in a day. I pray You help ___ prioritize the most important things that need to be done today. The work of the ministry can feel like a 24/7 job as there are many needs to fill. While there is often an overflowing to-do list that isn’t attainable in the span of one workday, or even a single week of work, remind them to ask You for help in the moments of being overwhelmed. Help them create space to spend time with You first and foremost. May their work not feel like a chore, but an overflow of their time with You when they give of their time to serve Your kingdom. I pray ___ can rest knowing as they follow Your divine direction, everything that is important to Your heart will be accomplished. Multiple their time and efforts as You did the bread and fish to feed the multitudes in John 6. May the people they counsel never be the same. May the mission’s work they help coordinate change communities for a lifetime. May the love they pour out on the people You placed in their path change their lives forever. Amen.
