(Proverbs 13:3) Dear Jesus, Your Word tells us that the tongue is a fire and source of destruction. Please help ___ with how they use their tongue. They says things to others that are hurtful, divisive, and discouraging. Please show them from Your Word how the tongue can be used to help others and to bring glory, praise, and honor to You. Father, please bring someone ___’s way who will lovingly and patiently explain to them how their tongue is not being used to help, but to hurt. Where there are hurtful words, bring healing. Where there are expressions of hate, bring love. Where there is gossip, bring encouragement. In Your mighty name I pray, Amen.
