(Romans 12:2) Graduation marks a significant moment in our lives. It is a threshold we cross, a point of transition into a new stage of life and development. As we leave home and enter into the “real world,” we open our lives up to more opportunities than ever before for growth, transformation, and maturity. Suddenly, we’re met with new people, new ideas, and new chances to grow both as human beings and as followers of You, Father. With these new opportunities, though, comes an equal amount of new responsibility. Yes, this new stage opens the door for growth and development, but it also welcomes in potential for destruction and darkness. Through Your Holy Spirit, Father, I ask You would equip ___ to overcome the temptations of the Enemy and of the world. Empower them to not only rise above the “ideals and opinions of the culture around [them],” but to also be “inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit.” May this be a unique time of growth and maturity for ___. Fill ___’s mind with Your Word, Your truth, Your wisdom, and Your discernment, that they might be transformed more and more into the image of Your Son, Jesus. Thank You for the transformational resurrection power of Your Holy Spirit, Lord. Amen.
