(1 Corinthians 15:58) Every day, Lord, the world tries to convince us of something: we are in control. Through our thoughts, the media, and the entertainment we consume, we’re told that 1) we’re in control of our lives and 2) if we succeed, it’s because of our own talent, determination, and willpower. Yahweh, You tell us a different story. Through Your Word and Your Holy Spirit, You speak to those who listen and say, “I am in control.” Praise You, Father, that You have ultimate authority and control over the outcomes in our lives. Would You remind ___ of this truth right now, Lord? Show ___ that, even when they fail or doubt, all is not lost. You remain in control. Even when all ___’s earthly prospects fall short, You still provide them with ultimate success. Despite ___’s circumstances, they can still “stand firm and secure” and live their life “with an unshakable confidence.” Through Your Spirit, God, fill ___’s soul to the brim with that supernatural confidence—in You, not their own abilities—and give ___ assurance that, when they follow after You and Your will, they will produce a “fruit that endures.” Thank You for Your provision and Your blessing, Lord.
