(Colossians 3:12) Father, as ___ and ___ go into their first year of marriage, learning to live with and love each other, I pray they robe themselves in Your virtues. Give them an abundance of mercy, compassion, kindness, gentleness, humility, patience, and understanding. As Paul said in Colossians 3:14, love becomes the mark of true maturity. This is often a sacrificial love, putting others before oneself. I pray You guide ___ and ___ daily to give their best to one another, forgiving one another as they learn what love is. Love is more than words and is a daily choice to cherish another. In the same way You drew them to You, draw them to one another as they fall deeper in love and as they learn and grow together and become one. Thank You for Your perfect timing and intentionality in bringing ___ and ___ together. You planned this union from the beginning of time. Thank You, for this is only the beginning of a lifetime of love and happiness together. May they live happily ever after with You! Amen.
