(Psalm 23:6) Jesus, today I lift up the question of “why” within the life of ___. There are many things in the life of ___ they can never explain away—the “why,” the hurt, and the emptiness. You, Jesus, are the answer to every “why.” While we may not be able to comprehend the “why,” You, Father, give us peace amid that uncertainty. We may never know the reasons behind suffering, trials, or hardships, but we do know that You, Father, know and can heal us from any pain. Through Your Spirit, we can nail the “why” to the cross and live a life not in the “why,” but in the “how much.” How much can God bless me? How much joy, hope, and grace can I experience through You, Jesus? So today, Father, I ask You to nail ___’s “why” to the cross and fill them with a sense of certainty, trust, and hope in the facts that You know them, You love them, and You want what’s ultimately best for them. Thank You for Your never-ending love, Father. Amen.
