(James 1:5) Father, You have given ___ an incredible heart for You. In the time I’ve spent with ___, You’ve made it clear to me: they have a unique dedication and commitment to You, Your truth, and Your people. Although You call all of Your followers to “go and make disciples of all people,” Lord, You’ve given ___ the unique and powerful call to a life of full-time ministry. Because of this, I thank You and praise You—not only for Your call on ___’s life, but also for their courage and willingness to follow after Your will and Your plan. In light of that call and that mission, Father, I ask You to fill ___’s mind and heart with wisdom. As You know, the call You’ve put on ___’s heart is no simple or monotonous task—it is a transformational, life-changing path. Because of that, God, through Your Spirit, lead ___ with supernatural wisdom, guidance, and discernment. As many will look to ___ for a picture of who You are, I ask that You’d give them an eternal wisdom that changes not only their heart, but the hearts of many others for Your Kingdom. Amen.
