(Proverbs 2:6) Generous God, wisdom truly is a gift from You. I pray You give this gift to ___ each day in every situation, wisdom beyond their education and experience. Teachers have to handle far more than anyone realizes and far more than their job description. When ___ is faced with the trauma of a school shooting or reporting a caregiver for suspected child abuse, give them the sweet peace and words from Heaven in order to handle the matter with care. If fear and anxiety of these events potentially arising tries to overwhelm them, exchange their fear for faith and anxiety for peace. Overwhelm them with Your presence and the gift of being present in the moment. Help them focus on what’s in front of them, knowing they can surrender all their worries to You. Remind them they can walk in confidence each and every day because You are only a whisper away. Lead them to draw strength from time spent in prayer and Your Word. I pray You surround them with amazing fellow teachers and administrators who understand and help them along the way. I pray there is a culture of family at the school among the teachers and staff. May their collective years of experience provide the best for all the students. Amen.
