(Psalm 56:3-4) Father, I know very well there may be fears in ___’s heart right now. In front of ___, there is new territory—much of it filled with uncertainty. As ___ steps into this next chapter of military service, of sacrifice for their country, I know the Enemy will try to twist the unknown and the uncertain, and transform it into stress, anxiety, worry, and fear. Satan wants ___ to be afraid, Lord, but I know that’s not what You want. That’s not what You specifically designed for ___’s life, Father God. Your vision, Your purpose for ___ is one filled not with fear or anxiety, but with hope, joy, love, and peace. Because of Your goodness, character, and great love, Yahweh, ___ can confidently lay all of their fears before You and trust You with all their heart—for You are trustworthy, Father. You have power over everything. You have the final word. And you are good. In light of all these things, what harm can man bring to ___? Lord, help ___ to feel Your protection, Your shield. Fill ___’s heart and mind with confidence, trust, and worship—thanking and praising You that the King of the Universe is on their side. Thank You, Father. Amen.
