(Romans 8:28) Of everything we can find confidence in, Father—in this world and beyond—Your goodness is above everything else. As the biblical authors proclaim over and over, You are completely and eternally good. If we trust in You, God, we have nothing to fear—because You are good and because You have a plan for bringing good into our lives. I know that this is true of ___’s life as well, Father. You are working in their life. You are bringing good into their life through the work of Your Holy Spirit. Despite the trials and confusion ___ has experienced and continues to experience, You are still good. You remain loving, caring, and invested in ___’s life for their ultimate good. I know that will never change. This week, God, fill ___ with an overwhelming sense of Your goodness. Meet their confusion with Your good promises and character. Combat their doubts with examples of Your never-ending goodness and love. ___ is Your child, Father. Show them the good plans You have for their life as child of the Living God. Amen.
